Becoming Less to Become More
Prayer of Praise:
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
:extending indefinitely: endless (infinite space)
:immeasurably or inconceivably great or extensive: inexhaustible (infinite patience)
:subject to no limitation or external determination
Every aspect of His character is limitless: His power, His grace and mercy, His love, His knowledge and wisdom. And He will fill us with His Spirit, if we make room for Him.
Write a prayer of praise to the endless, immeasurable, inexhaustible, unlimited God.
Read Romans 6:3-14
How much less are we called to become in order to live life in the fullness of Christ? What must come to nothing?
Our sinful self-centered nature is the primary hindrance when it comes to sharing in fellowship. How does sin and selfishness hold us back from becoming less to become more like Him? What do we miss out on when we refuse to become less by sharing our lives with Christ?
In Christ, what no longer has dominion over us? How does being freed from the law free us to be used by Him?
