Bought at a Price
For none of us lives to himself and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Romans 14:7-9 ESV
Read Isaiah 42:21-43:4
What did the Lord make great and glorious? Why?
What happened to those who did not obey? Who gave them up as plunder?
What did the Lord redeem His people from?
What does He say about those He has bought at a price? What does He do for them?
When we enter the world, we are born slaves to sin. What does it mean for you to hear His heart as Redeemer? One who buys His people back at a great price?
