Give Your All
Prayer of Praise:
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.
:Something or someone pleasant, fortunate, or otherwise positive. The message of Jesus concerning the salvation of the faithful (as elaborated in the Gospels).
Christ is the Good News of God in the flesh. Pleasant, fortunate, positive. Write a prayer praising God as Good News to the whole world.
Return to your prayer of praise daily. Add to it as you feel led.
What do these passages have in common? What is at the heart of each conflict? Where does Jesus expect our hearts to be fully invested?
To give our all, we must give all our loyalty to Him. An undivided heart willing to die for Him and His Kingdom. Family and personal sensibilities are the matters at hand in these Scriptures.
Do you struggle in one of these two areas? Is family more important than Him? What about what you think is reasonable? Ask God to reveal the misplaced loyalties in your life which keep you from being wholly devoted to Him. Be prepared to come into agreement with Him and repent.
