Seek encouragement to come alongside others with love by praising the Lord as your Strength.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him…
Exodus 15:2 ESV
Ask Him to put a song of praise in your heart to last throughout the day.
And let us not neglect our meeting together… but encourage one another…
The Greek translated as “encourage” means: to call to one’s side; speak to in the way of exhortation, entreaty, comfort, or instruction; to console; to encourage; to strengthen (ESL).
Strength for the journey is one thing we find in the Holy Spirit and the gathering of Believers.
How do you experience coming alongside the Holy Spirit? How does He encourage you?
The meeting together with Believers is meant to strengthen us in our role of strengthening others, both Believers and unbelievers.
What is your experience in finding strength and encouragement within the church? Both giving and receiving? How are you coming alongside?
