Begin by returning to the Reflection Scripture.
Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Romans 11:22-23 NIV
What does it mean to continue in His kindness?
How do you feel when you consider there is a risk of being “cut off”? What does the thought “spur” in you?
Ask God to keep you in His kindness.
Read Jude 17-25
What did Jesus’s apostles predict would happen in the last days? What will be the result?
According to Jude, how can we spur one another on in these last days to keep the faith and not be led astray?
How do we show mercy to the one doubting? Snatch others from the fire? What are we to hate?
What attitude should we have in these last days when it comes to speaking the truth in love? rebuking the lost? correcting a fellow Believer?
Who are we to rely on in the process?
